Last Friday DIAC confirmed we had now been granted perminant residency I have been looking into short term rentals and have provisionally booked a property now in Butler for 8 weeks. In that 8 week we hope to take a look around the areas, find a long term rental....do you think we are giving ourselves enough time? Don't get discouraged if you don't get the first rental you apply for - sometimes people have to apply for half a dozen. Good luck!
