Guest lambert
Hi can anybody help I have accepted a job in a hospital in Subiaco, Perth and is looking into Healthcare and dentists. How do you register? Cost? We have GP surgeries in the Uk. Do you have similar in perth and what about dentists? Can we register from the uk before moving to perth or do we have to do it when we we get there. I am married with 2 children aged 4 & 7. Many thanks, Jenny
ali
Register when you get here, unlike the UK you don't have to be registered with one practise and you can Dr. Shop - if you don't like one you can go to another, although some may have full lists. Some Dr.s will bulk bill and others won't .. My Dr.'s for example only bulk bills children and older aged adults.
JAK
I have seen bulk billing mentioned before, is it better if a dr does bulk billing? I am on medication for my thyroid, would it be better for me if I found a doctor that did bulk billing?
Jo1977
hi Jenny, is that a good hospital? I am looking for work in hospitals in Perth. My partner is working right in the CBD. Are you a nurse? I am a physio..
Guest lambert
St John of God, Subiaco I am an Operating Department practitoner in the uk. It's an Anaesthetic Technician in australia. Where abouts are you looking?
Jo1977
before i did physio I used to work in theaters in tssu, , but i used to help in the anaesthetic room and always thought the OPD job looked really intereesting.. I am willing to work anywhere that will have me as I have had a 2 year career break due to an injury! As we haven't decided where to live I am looking generally north of the river within a half hour commute for my partner. Exciting but stressful! Where have you chosen to live?
