That said, Does anyone know if any Bankwest/St.George accounts can be opened from the UK? You can pay money into the account prior to leaving the UK but cant withdraw until the you as the account holder confirms identity in the bank. If you want to transfer funds try using money corp this also can be done online via emails a telphone calls but you will need a printer and scanner to return paper work.
