I too am a single parent. Have one child and am in Baldivis. I am studying a masters degree at the moment. Been in oz for 7 months. We love it. My daughter goes to a childminder after school every day. It can be tough but I have met some great friends here who keep me sane!! When are you due to come out? Take care, Michelle x

AussiMel
I am a single parent, have a 9 year old daughter we are moving to Perth in September. I am originally from Australia and my daughter has Australian Citizenship by descent, we are going to be near to family and my daughter will have lots of cousins nearby. I can't wait until we fly out on the 12th Sept.

Good luck with your court case. Those things really drag out. I hope things go well for you. I don't work at the moment as most of my days are taken up with my masters degree at UWA. I do manage to make ends meet and I can't wait to start work to be able to save up a bit!!! I am living off my savings and don't finish uni until the end of next year. It will be worth it though. I am a qualified social worker in the UK but didn't have enough years post qualifying to practice in oz so I thought I would top up my UK degree with an Aussie masters! Keep in touch. Take care, Michelle x.
