fifi69
Hiya Phil, We are in Melville SOR, but dont mind travelling if a restaurant has good results
phil
Probably the only place I know near there would be the restaurant at Point Walter, but it's closed for dinners until the evenings warm up a bit again. Melville's pretty close to Freo? But I don't know much there apart from the prison and Little Creatures. Hope someone with more knowledge pops along soon with a recommendation for you. Guest racheldarkesouthwood
One for me! C-Restaurant is pretty special - it's in the city The Royal at the Waterfront - but the bar, not the restaurant is the best place to eat Or anywhere at Hillarys - I love it there Let us know what you decide! fifi69
Thanks Phil Went to little creatures last weekend, only for a couple drinks, it semed good. I know we have a whole choice of restaurants but just thought if someone could recommend one (heard so much about the lack of decent indians). When your still on a limited budget everywhere seems so expensive at the moment. Never mind i will just pay top dollar and celebrate her hard work and studying:shocked:

Give me a break!
Defo the C Restaurant. revolving restaurant with 360 views of the city, a bit pricey but perfect for a celebration, their high teas are fab apparently.http://www.crestaurant.com.au/
Guest racheldarkesouthwood
If it's good pub food you're after our local The Windsor is really good and a cool hangout. I was really impressed with the food at The Sail and Anchor in Fre-o, too. I don't really rate Little Creatures, but lots of people do! I thought it was fun for a first experience, but at 47, found it rather loud and busy!! I'm getting old!

Ah well, you need to head to their little bar next door "The Loft" which is smaller, quieter, and well, a bit "gentler". Has good views over the harbour, the same beer, but a less frantic atmosphere. And comfy chairs. I like it a lot.
