Could anyone please advise what tools in should bring with me. Do Australian plumbers use the rothenburger blow lamps, what hand tools are useless with the different materials etc. Is it advisable to take tool box on flight so i hopefully can get work before container arrives . did anyone air freight there tools out ??? Sorry loads of questions Thank you Ian

Did you go with Singapore in the end. If so, if you are on a PR Visa you will get double allowance, so 40kg per person.

Cheekey sod, my bubble in the level is fixed between the lines!!! we haven't booked yet, as we're waiting to see if our 14 year old can take her GCSE Maths in November. Sending a letter in this week when she returns so hopefully booking soon. 40 kg is great that means I could def take my hand tools we are going on a 176 SS PR visa Cheers ian

I looked at all sorts of ways to get my tool case here, i weighed it at 14kg, and the best and cheapest i found was parcelforce. I booked it on line and packed it well in a cardboard box and dropped it at the post office a week last saturday. I tracked it on line and it arrived safe yesterday so just over a week, cost £160 inc insurance for the full value
