G'day

I'm an Aussie although I spent a few years in the UK or thereabouts from 1999-2003. While I was there I acqured a "pommie bride" but getting her allowed here was pretty trivial. The spouse visa is very straightforward.

Hi Bob

How did you get your British Mother in Law out there? (She who was going to go snake-catching with my Mum till you kiboshed the plan!) Were you able to get her a Parent visa in the days before they slammed the doors or something?

Or is the lady concerned your mother, not your mother in law?

Cheers

Gill

G'day Gill

It's my mother in law that I'd love to send out snake catching :) :) She didn't want to come out here, other than for a visit, however she is now to frail to do so.

A broken hip last year took its toll on her general health which has now deteriorated quite a lot. Then again she is 96 so we shouldn't be expecting 4 minute miles !!
