LauraB
Hi everyone It's been a little while since I posted on here as things have been quite hectic, however what's not done now may just end up not getting done as I fly out to Perth tomorrow!! I'm feeling incredibly nervous now but very much looking forward to it. Although I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye to my family this evening, that's going to be really hard. I'm arriving on my own, with my other half coming over in 6 weeks time. I'm 28 and he is 37, no kids, so would love to meet other people of a similar age for a few drinks or days out next week so I don't get too lonely! We both love the outdoors, beach, a few drinks, etc and I'm also up for meeting anyone who's looking for a running buddy! I'm staying in the CBD for a couple of days, then have a place in Cottesloe for the first month which will hopefully give me time to find a house before the other half arrives. ScottishRedHead82
Hi Laura, I live in Cottesloe (I'm 30, and came here by myself but live with a British flatmate) and would be happy to meet up with you for coffee and/or show you around (or if you need someone with a car to help you move from the CBD to Cott, let me know. When I arrived I ended up having to transport all of my luggage on the train from Woodvale to Cottesloe, which was a nightmare!). LauraB
Coffee would be fab! What do you do Alison? Been in Perth long? I'll have a car thank you but will definitely be in need of a drink!

ScottishRedHead82
Perth is great, you'll love it. If you want to do coffee or cocktails sometime, just give us a shout once you arrive. There's quite a few Brits at SCGH where I work so I suspect there will be at PMH too (there's another paeds nurse on here actually - Katie H)
