Hi Vixie99 and TheresaScorchio

I would be free week after next i.e week starting 29th. Any of those times you mentioned would be good for me. Let me know and if anyone has suggestions of venues that would be good. I haven't tested out any of the coffee shops yet so don't know what's good. I don't mind being the driver.

Hi

My husband and three children (aged 14, 11 and 10) have just moved to Bull Creek. Is there anyone nearby who might like to do some early morning walks, runs or bike rides with me or if not just a coffee while the kids are at school?

Hi,

what's it like in Bull Creek? We are currently in Rockingham (we've been here 2 weeks now) but we will need to move closer to our work and we are looking at Bull Creek and the surrounding suburbs. What's it like for property, schools, childcare etc.? I have 3 children aged 7, 3 and 1. How far away is the nearest beach?

Many thanks x

Hi Francine

We moved to Bull Creek because of the schools and because my son needed to be near the river for rowing. My eldest who is 14 goes to Rossmoyne SHS which is amazing and the top state school in WA. My younger two go to Bull Creek which is also very impressive though I think Oberthur is marginally better (they teach mandarin there). However, both very excellent. Also the location is great - right near the river which is beautiful for running, walking, swimming, fishing, bike rides (superlative cycle paths) and also only 15 mins from the beach at Freo. Freo as a city is very interesting with a slightly hippy feel (in a good way) and then the other direction we are only 10 mins from the centre of Perth. The only real downside I am finding is that Bull Creek is very 1980s in architecture and there are a lot of elderly people living here and not many families. In the future we hope to move to Rossmoyne closer to the river - a bit more expensive but beautiful.

Hope that helps.

Hi MrsPegs.. any chance you can let me know when the next meet up is? I met a really friendly person at a house auction in Noalimba on Sat and she mentioned a meet up and socialising thing around this area?
