Guest wafc Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 Hi all, Just thought I'd register with this site as I use other Oz forums quite a bit and since I'm hoping to move to Perth it made sense! I'm Stu (27), my partner is Karen (23) and we're from Wigan, Lancashire. Our 139 application is in and we are hoping to have a CO sometime soon! Hopefully we will have our visa by the end of the year and are then hoping to be in Perth early next year. I have a grandfather who lives in Mindarie and an aunty who lives in Butler, I also have an uncle in Melbourne. We visited Perth last year and loved it so looking forward to getting there, although being a first time buyer doesn't look so good at the minute! lol. Anyway, enough rambling, nice to meet you all. Guest Rich Posted August 16, 2006 Report Share Posted August 16, 2006 Hi wafc I used other oz web site mainly the poms in perth but you may its been hacked. when are you looking at being in perth?? we will be there in 2 weeks can't wait getting scarey now after 2 years of planning :shock: :shock: We went there last year and loved it we spent 4 weeks driving about. We're staying in butler for our first 3 weeks then we hope to else would like butler, Hillary's but won't no until we're there. Rich.. This exact thing happened to PomsInOz.com twice...first time I ignored it and fixed the problems, second time I thought I'd better do something so updated the software and back up the forum - Touch wood the script kiddies have not been back! Either they have not backed their data (Really really stupid) and its gone forever or They haven't read the instructions on the easy way of updating their forum!! After all its not eactly rocket science . Upload some files and press this button! 2 minute job. Hi Rich, Poms in Perth is now back up and running btw but its good to use this site as well. I like to spread myself about between all the forums! lol I'm hoping to be in Oz early next year, all depends on when we get that magic visa grant or more importantly at the minute a CO!
