msjguk
Hello Would really appreciate any advice please. We (family of 5) are arriving in Perth just after Christmas and will be looking for a rental and school. My husband will be working in Henderson, and we have a 8 year old, nearly 4 year old and a 16 month old. I'm trying to find areas to look at living with schools / parks / beaches etc. If anyone could put my mind at rest with any information/advice, I'd really appreciate it. Guest Nikki35
Where's Henderson??? Depends. What ya looking for really. Ya never far from any beach. That's a fact.if you live further than Joondalup or that sort of distance from the city it's considered far. I know it doesn't look it in Km. but it really is. We only live 18km from city 2 mins to beach but because iof the freeway and speed limits the teaffic starts queuing up at 1500. Albeit not as bad at UK but still painful. Catholic, private or State school?? North or south?? If its south I can't help ya apart from I've been through it and I prefer the North myself My kids in catholic school. All good and results are good. Cheaper than private independent and apparently better than state schools. Depends on the aarea though. Some are good and some are crap. I live in Mullaloo. And if I buy I'd but round here. Ocean reef Hilary's or Sorrento but pricey bit loads of parks beaches and great schools. IMO. Nic

Jenni Hi Jenni I work in Henderson and live in Rockingham, it is only 20min drive from my home to Henderson. In addition you'd find R'ham rich in parks/schools and its beaches are famous enough. In case of any further information, please let me know. Thanks.
