katiecuts
Hi, It's my son's birthday next week and we want to do a family day out somewhere good, can anybody reccomend a good day out. We have already been to Caversham wildlife park and Adventure world so anywhere but these two places (which were great days out if anybody was wondering). Thanks Katie

Sunflower79
We went to Walyunga National Park on the weekend, it's near Ellenbrook just off the Great Northern Highway. You can go swimming/paddling/splashing in the Avon River, there are BBQs and we and our 8yr old really loved it. $11 entry fee, absolutely worth it! Jen_PFR
If the weather's a bit nicer, you could pack a picnic and go to King's Park. Central and inexpensive!
Give me a break!
Adventure world is fab for all ages
Rossmoyne
Wireless Hill in Applecross is good. Barbies there, children's play stuff and walks around the hill in the bush. Or what about Heathcote Park. Brilliant kids playground and barbies and it all overlooks the Swan River.
