Kev Rad
Hi I was just after some info on motor insurance. Is it the same as in the UK as I am told the 'Rego' has an element of third party insurance in it?? Is it the same deal for cars and motorbikes? Thanks Kev
phil
The CTP (compulsory third party insurance) is indeed part of the "rego". But it only covers injuries to the other party - not damage to their vehicle, property, street furniture etc. You don't have to have additional insurance, but a lot of people do. There's more on it at http://www.icwa.wa.gov.au/mvpi/ctp/mvpi_what_is_ctp.shtml
