Guest Ethan
I have had two employees over the past 7 months I have been in Australia, one I am still working for. The first didnt pay into a super but did tax me quite a bit and the current does pay into a super and taxes less. I have heard so many rumours about getting money back Id just like to know where I stand. I will be leaving and then coming back in September, what am I entitled to claim when I leave...all my super contributions and tax, only my super, all my tax and no super or all of my super and a little bit of tax.. Can anyone help guys...cheers :-)
Admin
You can only withdraw your super if you are here as a temporary resident then leave Australia and the visa you were on is no longer in effect (it's expired or you cancel it). Details are on the ato website @ As the existing visa must have expired or been cancelled, then if you're coming back to Australia, that would have to be on a different visa http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.aspx?doc=/content/63803.htm http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.aspx?doc=/content/00276719.htm http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.aspx?menuid=0&doc=/content/00276719.htm&page=2&H2 Can't help with the tax, sorry.
