Hi Gary,

It gets smaller this world don't it.

Just up the road from you in Barlborough, used to live on Ashdown Gardens, on the estate just down from Belfry 9 yrs ago before moving over to Owlthorpe, now been settled up here 7 yrs.

We (wife & 3 kids) got our 190 pr this month & me & wife are validating on 22nd march, this year before bringing kids over later in the year.

Will be stayin with aunt in Riverton, (sor) most of our stay, but got a mate up in Kinross who we'll be visiting as well.

Only there for 7 full days so its goin to be a quicky but I need to validate so I can get back out there and try & earn some pennies before we all move over. Wife is the main applicant hence me goin over with her first.

Might av to meet up either here or over there whenever we make the moves??? PM me if interested.

hi mad cow, just to mention when I met the wife (club Wow, RIP) she was living near wickersley, just up the rd from yourself. Now her brothers there who is also enquiring about a visa.

Small world

Have you been to Perth before

Its a shame we fly back on the 22nd or we could have met up there but yes certainly up for a meet

Hi Gary,

First time visiting Perth so don't know what to expect other than what you read on here. Can't wait really.

Wish we could have done longer but work commitments didn't allow for it.

Just trying to make up some sort of a schedule of what things to do & see at mo.

We actually arrive at perth airport on 22nd 12:25pm, so will be crossing paths either in the air, airport or on rd to airport.

Have a good trip, will send u a friend request.

Hi M8 we catch the 1030 pm flight back Ive been half a doz times and can t wait to go everytime Ive been trouble is I don t want to come home one thing you can expect is it will be warmer than here lol

Theres lots of things to do a day trip to Rottnest Island is nice or a trip on the swan river sampeling the wines or you can go and have lunch and wine tasting at the many resturants in the swan valley but will probably be better off doing this if you can get a day free without the kids Hillarys Hardour is a good day out there is a big water slide and a shelterd beach where you can chill out, then if you want you can have somthing to eat at many of the different types of restaruants and brouse around the gift shops

Hi all, we're from Heanor, next door to Ilkeston, we're now in kinross, been here 5 yrs, did our citizenship test in Dec, now got the ceremony in April. The world gets smaller and smaller. Miss the accent, stopped saying duck cus everyone looked at us like we were mad! Haha

Hi Jane,

you didn't happen to know any shelbournes from Heanor did you, old workmate.

Ill be paying my mate a visit in Kinross around 23rd march, they live on Dunfermline rd, only been there a month.

Cant wait for our little trip down under

Lee

As it happens my hubby was born and raised in Heanor and yes he knew some shelbournes.

It's a nice time of yr to come over here in march. We love kinross, I'm sure you will to. Enjoy your trip, it's the best thing you'll ever do. And I hope everything turns out good for :)
