jimblob
Hi my wife has the NVQ 3 child care learning and development qualification from the UK and wants to transfer it to a Australian equivalent. Can anybody help to point her in the right direction please. We are living in Baldivis. Thanks Jim..
jamesw
Contact the local TAFE that do child care and they can either talk you through transferring the qualification or they may be able to APL against the units you have got so you may need to doing a couple of different units. Guest Miss uk
You just send your qualifications off. Go on line it's children and communities in wa and click on the relevant links. It's $100 to get it transferred into a letter for your prospective employer. Really easy to do I did mine
Give me a break!
I thought you had to sit a course and re do exams? A friend of mine has had to do just that. Perhaps I got the wrong end if the stick though.
Guest Miss uk
I thought you had to sit a course and re do exams? A friend of mine has had to do just that. Perhaps I got the wrong end if the stick though. I sent mine off about a year ago and they simply need a copy of your certificate and details of where you studied etc. Can't remember fully but it's all on their web page of what they need. It's about $100 for the change over then they send you a letter with what's it's equivalent to here. I did the NNEB in the uk which is equivalent to a diploma here. If your wife goes to ranstad in The city too, they will help hope this is helpful. There are definatly no exams though
