Side by Side & Dishwashers

Do most rentals have sufficient space for a side by side fridge/freezer? We are planning on bringing one over with us.

 

Also, are dishwashers standard in unfurnished rentals?

 

We rented a furnished place before and it had a dishwasher, so not sure about unfurnished rentals.

Dishwashers aren't standard, most rentals specifically list it if they supply one so if it isn't listed I'd check! All the places bar one of those we've seen had a recess large enough for a side by side fridge freezer.....

Just to add though, that it might depend on the age of the property re the space for fridge?...I wouldn't want to steer you wrong! I think a lot of them said on the rental ad if there was a large recess so might be worth looking at realestate.com.au at places in the area you want and seeing what the majority say.

Thanks. I have tried to have a good look, but some of the photos are taken at a funny angle. The majority of them have a space already for a side by side so will take one with us.

Not all recess space is a standard size, we had to specifically look for a slightly smaller side by side fridge freezer for the space we had in our kitchen.
