The Jamesy's
Hi everyone, we are hoping to return to Perth this year and just wondered if anybody had children in Carramar primary and what you thought of it?!? We were also wondering about secondary schools for Carramar? I think I read that it would be Wanneroo High School or Kinross? Am I right? and if so does anyone go to Kinross and maybe get a school bus from Carramar? Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated. We have 4 girls 2,4,11 & 12 so would be looking at both Primary and Secondary schools. Thanks a lot Jess

The local state high school is Wanneroo not Kinross and unfortunately Wanneroo doesn't enjoy the best of reputations. Sadly because the state system starts to take year 7 children in 2015 nearly all decent high schools are not taking out of catchment children at the moment unless they enrol on specialist programs. Thanks a lot Jess[/quote'] Both my boys go to Carramar Primary and in the short three months they have been there since coming over from the UK I have been very impressed with their progress (much better than their UK school). The school reviews was one of the reasons we choose the area and I've no regrets so far. Good luck on your return and give me a "shout" if you fancy a cuppa when you arrive Tracey

Looks like we are going to have to be in the catchment for good secondary schools more so as I have the two older girls-think we are going to have to look nearer Kinross/Ocean Reef. But thanks for your reply and shall definitely give you a shout about that "cuppa"!!! Thanks again Jess xx

Thanks for your time in replying, it makes it so much easier to narrow down areas re: schools etc which is a great help, thanks again Jess xx
