sunset addict
Hi Hoping there are some Yankee Candle fans out there , who can help. I love my Yankee candles and have quite a stock pile cupboard. Id like to bring some with me for when we take up our furnished rental on arrival, you know how it is with other peoples things smell. I know you can buy them in Perth because I saw them everywhere on my recci trip, I will be giving some of them away to friends but id like to bring some favs but thought I read on here that you coudnt bring candles? Its packing week and I am dithering about whether to put them on the consignment list.

jonandsarah
We only been here 5 weeks sorry its bad news for your collection i wasnt allowed to pack any of my candles they are a no no. I was also advised not to pack artifical flowers as is customer spot something on x ray that looks like flowers they will open boxes for check, costing you more and you have to prove not real i was gutted as i had to give away some of my wedding table faux flowers broke my heart. that was with john masons international

hw72
I brought all my candles. The shipping company said we could and gave me a list of what we could and could not take. Candles were on the list of what you could ship. Check with your shipping company, although I can't see why they should have different rules re this. Happy packing!
