Cornishpoms
For those that have made the move.... How long would you recommend renting a holiday let for, before finding something morepermeant? Think we may find it hard to find somewhere nice to rent as we have a small dog in tow! Don't want to book to long, then find somewhere quick and loose money, but on the other hand we don't want to find are selves homeless!! Thanks Harriet
portlaunay
We booked for a month but found something two weeks later. We were able to negotiate with the owners and bail early but we were paying week by week so we had the upper hand. It all depends on the area you'll be in and the kind of demand for rentals. We booked for 8 but found something after less than 2 weeks so have paid double for a month you might find it takes longer with dog most we looked at didn't want pets Sarah
deanandkay
Hi, we have pets in tow too and are looking for a holiday home for around two weeks. Can you give us some websites that are good for holiday lets please. Many thanks

Guest guest9824
Maybe an option to rent in the city in serviced apartments, think there are some called Mantra, I know of a few people who have done that when they first arrived, granted they didnt have kids and pets, maybe for a few weeks it would be good as you would be central to everything and you could enjoy the city too. I think there are quite a few holiday lets in Mindarie and Quinns from memory, friends had one in Quinns, was ok and served its purpose. pea
jonandsarah
we used lets-perth but they dont allow pets - not cheap but fully furnished. Only thing that really lets them down is they didnt offer a little food, drinks package on arrival eg tea coffee milk bread - if you get here at night everything is pretty much shut - thankfully we had time to go the the shops as arrived mid afternoon and thankfully hubby was up to driving after the flight
