It is good. No its not. Yeah I live there I like it. The schools are good. No they are rubbish my kids hate it. Too many hoons. Not enough hoons. No part time work. Yeah there is some in the shops. The beach is great. No it is not, it is a surfers beach. The houses are well priced. The houses are over rated and highly priced for what they are. And so on... The problem with this type of thread is that everyone has different views of a suburb.

It is near the sea, the suns shines, the houses are fine and they have state schools. However it will be more down to what you guys need in terms of a house, the facilities and infrastructure you need close at hand, commuting, schools and so on. If it was me I would not go anywhere that has no railway station near at hand but that is only me. The reason being is that this city will be one giant car park in a few years time and being near a station and a train will better than not being near one.

i live here to and i dont mind it. dont get hoons in my part straight to the point. dont get anything dont get people who speak to you either - that is if you see anyone, its also a bit like keeping up with the jones,s people who walk their dogs dont pick up its mess though thats one thing about secret harbour. its like living in solitary confinement but more freedom hahaha, poor street lighting, chavy clinical pub, woolworths, post office, all the amenities for daily living i suppose. its what you make of it really as straight to the point says. its not all bad there is sun and sea woo hoo

We have never stayed NOR, so it's hard to compare but I would say it is good for young families. The golf club has stuff for juniors, State Swim for lessons and there is Larkhill sports ground and of course Life Saving Club for Nippers or learn to surf. Playgroup at the Community Centre. I would go so far as to say we think it's the nicest spot between Mandurah and Rockingham. But we're biased. We have been here for 4.5 years and been quite comfortable with it as a suburb.

We even have a house for sale for you! With a pool. (Moving to UK coz hubby has good job offer and his mum back there all on her own.) Also only neighbours either side & behind and not across from us as there is reserve opposite, so not got nosey Jones' here!

Home Open this Sunday. Come have a nosey. ;)

Its not a secret and there is no harbor, aplastic fantastic name creation with no basis in ummm... anything at all, whichis quite common here. I would go nuts there, as STTP says everyone has a viewand I am sure people love it there. We moved from a new area to an establishedarea because the new areas can be sterile and clinical, you don't get all the nicetiesbut you do get established neighborhoods. The newer estates seem to have amassive turnover of residents.
