Moving to Perth in September

Hello all

First time poster on here so go easy on me.

Myself and my wife have our 186 visas and I will be heading out to Perth at the end of September followed by the Mrs in November. I have the chance of a room to rent in Kingsley. I just wanted to know people's thoughts of it. I have travelled a bit in Wa but not to this place. I am going to be working in Joondalup.

Any help would be great.

I haven't been as we too are researching from afar! We're looking at similar areas though, Duncraig, woodvale and have heard good reports so far.

Ok I will bite.... And go easy.... What do you mean by "I just wanted to know people's thoughts of it"? Is "it" Perth? If it is then perhaps just read through this site and you will get views on how good it is, how bad it is and how boring it is and so on. Then it may be easier to come back on and ask some more specific questions that will help you further. Most people on this site are either here, and loving it, or are planning to come here and think it is going to be great.
